Great fanart there, but it would've been even greater had you deviated from your reference pic just a bit more.

It's great none the less.

It does look nightmarish, yet still has a certain kind of beauty to it.
The color choices and shading, as well as the interesting shapes definitely makes for a high quality work;

Excellent work there.

I really like the whole "dynamic speedpaint" feel going on here.
You managed to cram in just the right amount of detail in there, without going overboard.

In short, great work.

How long did you take on this aproximately?
The glow effects really do add a lot to this work.

The good, but still somewhat sketchy look to the work really adds a lot to it's charm too.

I like the design itself.

It definitely has an interesting design...
But on this one, it's mostly the background work that gets the cake.
It manages to set a great atmosphere, so great work!

Great design...

The legs seem a bit sloppy compared to everything else, though.
More specifically, the joints and the creases between the armor plates seem somewhat less detailed than the rest of the design.
Other than that, great design.

I like the active pose, and I most definitely like the shading.
Don't remember the things ever using an axe, but I'm most definitely impressed.

Interesting work

I particularly like the background. A lot!

The eagle itself looks good, but, to me, it looks like it's anatomic features could use a bit more definition.
Still very very impressive.

It looks great...

I'd recommend you experiment a bit more with "coloring your lineart".
Giving your lines a different color than plain black.
That would make the glowy effects look much better.
