I hate having to provide a poor review for this game, but this game will not load on my system.
I'm using a windows 7 system and tried both firefox and internet explorer.
The loading screen and advertisements do load properly, but the loading bar doesn't seem to do anything.

Please try now - I think i have fixed the problem.

Great game, only two things keeping you from getting that fifth star.

First, no keyboard controls during the hacking bit, but you already know about this.

Second, the game pretty much suddenly ends the moment the nano guardian being is defeated.
I know there will be further episodes, but just cutting off to the score submission part feels a bit awkward.
It would be cool to add some sort of mini-epilogue next time.

Nice game, BUT!

Either the bonus blocks are bugged, or you neglected to properly explain the game mechanics behind them.
The bonusses seem to disappear when you get near.

If there's supposed to be a trick to this, it should be in the instructions.

Zanroth, thank you for your comment. The problem is that bonus has no any color, so it won't give you a chance to capture the field with some color; in this case bonus is taken if neighboring cubes are captured.

Pretty nice so far.

The water graphics seem to cause lag on my AMD sempron 3000+ equipped PC with over 1 gig of ram.
I'd recommend optimizing all your line-art to give it a smoother allround look, and generally be more processor friendly.

Also, compared to the more shaded backgrounds, the characters look rather bland.

Other than that, the flowing river background sound effect does not seem to be looping properly. I'd highly recommend fixing that issue, also, that sound effect seems to be causing additional lag, indicating that it is likely not properly optimised. I could be mistaken on this one.

I will refraim from commenting on your current storyline, as (I hope) we haven't really seen much of anything yet.

This definitely does not qualify as a game demo due to being far too short.
The fact that not even all the features shown in the instructions section can be used, is indicative of this.
"Game engine demo" seems like a better term for this submission.

Work out these flaws and you'll have frontpage material.

Yeah, that river certainly is problematic. I will be giving it some serious attention.

The storyline is huge, so you've hardly seen anything yet. I will be tweaking the opening a little to try and develop the story better.

Hopefully this'll be worthy of front page by the time it's completed. There are 22 levels planned and scripted, so that might be a while.

This game (demo) is absolutely perfect.
I cannot find anything negative to say about it.

Why the hell does this have a score below 4, or at the very least 3,5?

This is one of those hyper-rush type games.
Fast, furious and challenging.
Graphics and sound were great.
Gameplay, though not conceptually original was excecuted in an interesting fashion.
Good job, hoping to see more of your work.

Graphis: seems pretty basic ripping and recoloring to me...

Style: the programming was nicely done! it plays just like mm7.
Most commendable.

Sound: well implemented, and as would be expected, standard MM7 stuff.

Well, I didn't want to make it look TOO different from an MM game, but I knew I would get flak for using sprites too. Kinda had to pick my poisons on that one.

Or someone just took the actionscripting, and added a few partile effects, and a fuel and shield-gauge, and posted it on newgrounds.

Seriously... How many of these asteroids clones are there?

Now the constructive part of the review:

-Use better graphics, I've seen enough "mystical, unshaded arrow-ships" for a while now...
-More weapons?
-More enemies? It gets kinda boring, constantly blowing up nothing but Chuncks of rock that don't fight back...

Final verdict: Look, I don't know how much work you put into it, but seeing as EVERY flash-site has at least ONE asteroids clone, most being much better executed than this, I have my doubts.
It more than anything needs something new, interesting.
Please take this advice in mind, for your next game.

Well jumping to conclusions on the fact that I didn't code this puts me in a bad mood, right off the bat. It took me two weeks, and I wrote every line myself. I recognize that asteroid clones are everywhere, but I made this game specifically for http://swashed.com, where you can play it for points (the primitve currency). There are more enemies than the asteroids, but you didn't play long enough to find out. Specifically, you start encountering new enemies at level 5 (this is mentioned in the instructions as well). Now, if you can find me ONE asteroids clone, made in Flash -- hell, ANY asteroids clone that you find is better than this one is, tell me. Seriously. I'd want to play it in that case. As for the graphics, CPU-intensity restrictions didn't allow anything more complicated than simple polygons. Anything more complex, and your hard drive will spin until it hurtles you back in time.

It's challenging,
Pretty hard, I got to the third room and screwed up.
Someone allready stated that there should be a way to start again in the ROOM you were in, and I agree with that.

for those who fail to understand the reason of enemy's HP getting bigger when more alert:

try shooting someone who's just standing there, and doesn't realise you're there.
next, try shooting someone who's got a gun pointed at you and is moving eratically, so you can't get a good lock-on, while you're panicking because you've been found

You should make a slightly easier version...

another great game, it seems it's gonna live up to the first.

What's good about this game:
-finally someone with imagination tried to make a MM game: YOUR megaman looks great! much better than those lame-ass sprites, and you actually changed his looks.
-new battle system: again a sign of originality
-this story, seems like it will greatly surpass capcom's creativity, just like in the 1st one .
-level design and overall animation and graphics are great

Bad about this game:
-choice of music was not bad, but not fitting for a megaman game either.

I look forward to the full version

Thanks. There's not going to be a full version though. Each section will have to be released on their own due to filesize restrictions & performance.
